Welcome, Here is a booklet to aid you in your eyeglass recycling efforts. It is designed to show you the basic styles of eyeglasses that have restoration or recycling value. In looking at these pictures, please remember there are thousands of individual styles and colors that will have some sort of resemblance to the ones in this booklet. 90% of the frames you send should be either yellow metal or white metal, though many of the eyeglasses will have aluminum or plastic parts. Please note, avoid sending eyeglasses that are made entirely of plastic, that are modern colored metal or eyeglass cases. In general, please just sort out all the eyeglasses that resemble the ones in this booklet. If there are some eyeglasses that you are not sure about, go ahead and send them in the first couple of shipments. I will be glad to send back examples of any eyeglasses that have no refining or restoration value. To ship us the eyeglasses, please send them UPS or US mail insured, and include the shipping bill for reimbursement. Remember, Re-Specs will beat any precious metal refiners price!
